The Florida Supreme Court on Tuesday put the upcoming execution of Cary Michael Lambrix — set for Feb. 11 — on hold indefinitely.
The move came hours after the court heard nearly an hour and a half of arguments on the effect of the U.S. Supreme Court's Jan. 12 ruling against the state's death sentencing law.
