A fire at a temple in southern India has killed at least 60 people, according to multiple reports.
The fire erupted at the Puttingal temple, in the state of Kerala, according to CNN. The Associated Press reported that at least 60 were killed, while scores of other people were injured.
The blaze reportedly was ignited by sparks from a fireworks display. Video purportedly recorded at the the scene showed fireworks and and a large plume of smoke.
