Friends, what you are looking at here is a Pokémon freakshake. Yes, we have reached peak 2016. Maxwell's have not only accepted the Pokémon revolution, they have embraced it and made sweet sweet love to it. In an incredibly savvy move, they're getting one of their staff to go out every day and PUT LURES ON THE POKÉSTOPS AROUND THE RESTAURANT BECAUSE THEY'RE ACTUAL GENIUSES.

Ladies & Gentlemen
This underground bar is home to two things: excellent cocktails, and an astonishing number of rare Pokémon. Where did they come from? Why are there so many of them? We cannot know the answers to these questions, but I'm pretty sure they're there for the Highwayman gin martini.
FYI, please be sure to keep a healthy Pokémon catching to socialising balance. No one likes a bar full of people on their phones.

Nola
Not all bars were created equal. Some bars are hidden New Orleans-themed bars in east London, filled with unexpected Pokémon. And some aren't. Nola is the former. I was there about two weeks ago and caught a high-level Weepinell and Seel in the space of one pineapple rum daiquiri. Would recommend.

Buckingham Palace
You wanna catch 'em all? Buckingham Palace is where it's at. There's not one, but TWO highly active gyms on either side of the palace. The palace itself is smack bang in the middle of St James Park and Green Park – St James Park is full of Slowpokes and Green Park is, in general, a hotbed of activity. Plus there's a ton of water features and you know what that means: MAGIKARP (working my way up to a Gyarados evolution one 'karp at a time).
